Saturday, July 26, 2008 Random thoughts so bare with me-KEV- when am I going to be a crazy aunt to you and the lovely Rimbina, and you better not have put a freakin parachute on layaway! I will be pissed! Pele- *sniffles* and you know why. DAZD- You are so awesomely cute and so full of philosophical insight- I at times have to look things up on wikipedia when I speak to you. Hope- Git Er Dun! enough said Slick- I am calling defacs on you. *winks* and continue picking up socks my friend. They multiply like gremlins. Dixie- I party wherever and whenever especially if someone invites me to a cool event. You need to roll with me after your little House Design project ceases. Fancy-Annalys- I miss you guys..*sniffles* Blither- mojito, wine or guiness? take your pick. Bettina- g'day my favorite aussie! You are loved and missed. - Sleep...I want sleep...Since my piercing I cannot lay on my stomach...therefore I have to curl up and hug a frumpy ass pillow so as to not smash my stomach and awaken in the night in howling pain....All I want is to sleep comfortably....any tips are appreciated. Pete in SA- you are missed also...Any new scientific finds? Pete in NZ- found my maori yet???? Seraphine- you and Dazd share the same mindset in deep thoughts. Monday, July 21, 2008 You all are so sweet you know that? I need to win the lottery so I can fly you all out somewhere and we can just veg and hang know what I mean? OK- so I told you all that I was going to go get my piercing done right? Well I did. I GOT ER DUN people! The saddest part was that I didn't have anyone to share that moment with you know? So- I ended up texting Hope and her reply was of course a "WooHoo!" and then later on that night as we were chatting she closed her remarks by saying- "Have a good night "Holey"..Yeah- leave it to her to give me some kind of perverted title. So no worries Pele- it aint tha cooter that got the jewelry. I did in fact go with the belly button. I went to one place on Friday and was totally creeped out. Not only was this place all dark and dreary but so were the people. When I asked for some information, the guy said- "talk to our piercer she's right here." When I looked at her she then retorts- "What do you want to know?" Of course I smart ass kindly replied back- "Well since I have never done this, I would like to know the beginning to end." She didn't even look at me- she was too busy drawing a design and talking to me at the same time- and then she said the magic phrase of why I got the hell out- "I can't do anything anyways because the Health Department doesnt think my stuff is clean- so I have to wait for another report. They basically took my money and ran- assholes." I said thanks and walked out. Briskly people. I could have set my own ass on fire walking out of there so fast.Needless to say I ended up going to a place called - In The Flesh Tattoo and people- they rawk! TIM is a sweetheart and he is the one that did my piercing. I mentioned to him while I was waiting that I was scared as shit. Which I was. It isn't everyday that I am begging for someone to stab a needle in my body and put a fish hook through me for decoration. He told me not to worry, and he was awesome. I laid on that table and carried on a conversation with him that lasted but only 3 minutes or so and he was finished! I walked out with a barbell in my belly button and a smile thinking that was cool. I was fine...UP until I went to see Batman- which by the way lasted almost 3 hours- and then I felt the little pain hitting me. Nothing major. On a scale of 1-10 ten being nearly dead from pain- I was at a 2. So- I went home and made a phone call and was told to take some aspirin and I would be fine. It was common. And I was fine. and now- I am good to go. So much so- I will attempt to do at least 30 minutes of racquetball- cuz people- I am jonesin to play. I didn't play Saturday or Sunday and I ate like a mofo on Saturday and need to keep my metabolism up. So- yeah me! Yo- recommended movies- Wanted, Batman- The Dark Knight and The Bucket List- by the time the Bucket List was over I was crying major snot bubbles. It is really good. I did promise you all a little bit of the So you Think you Can Dance auditions at that club didn't I ? Ok. so it wasn't an audition. But dammit people- I would pay a cover price just to sit there and watch people. Life for example- I shall name her -"Tic"....this lady was not only having flashbacks of trying to be a solid gold dancer- but I think her outfit proved her right. Not only did she don the gold spandex hot pants, but she also had the little headband thing going, and freakin leggies people. She was a 70's star! I was waiting for Kool and the Kang to jump out of her pants. This visual was something similar to the Seinfeld episode of Elaine dancing. EXCEPT she didn't do that little donkey kick. This heffer did more of a chuck berry twist- and "tic" jerk movements. She did this dance not only drunk, but with her eyes closed. She was feelin something people. I don't know if it was the Music or not. Yo go girl! This Buds for you- "Ms.Shinypantschuckberryticmovin dancer" And let me not forgot the gentleman whom I named- "Brooks and Dunn and Don't." You see- this young man was all but doing his best to impress his date. He was even dressed for occassion in his Larry the Cable Guy shirt and jeans, and John Deere Cap. He may have had some chew going on also in his mouth, but I just rather not see that much as that would have had me hurling chucks all over the floor. Ahem- anywho- Mr. Man was being hella berated by his date who was mad that he couldn't salsa, mambo, anything latin. She was yelling at him and screaming "Watch how they do it! Copy the moves! No no your doing it wrong!" For all that is holy this man had enough and grabs her by the shoulders and yells back at her" I aint furkin spanish! I caint do that shit!" and he walks off- leaving Ms. Daisy Dukes to her own devices. Poor him...it was funny though. I gotta tell ya. Also- regardless of where you go there is always a female to female humper doo which takes place on the floor. These two I guess were audtioning for some kind of reality show and figured they would get the part by humping each other and feelin up mass quantities of boobage and ass while trying to dip baby dip at the same time. My motto...Regardless of who you are- you can tell how people are in bed by the way they dance. If they totally suck at dancing for lack of rhythm- I rest my case. and yo peeps. the rest is history. ala-cart mojito style comprende'? I reckon I will take my butt home now- I am beginning to get a tad agitated after working 9 hours and sitting most of the day. Friday, July 18, 2008 Before I begin this post I just wanted to tell you all that have been commenting: "YOU CRACK ME UP" and Pete- your turning into a little freak. hehehehe you are too funny... KimmyK- thank you for stopping by and leaving me a comment. It is most appreciated and I am glad I made you laugh.Now- for the SERIOUS tones...Once again- this may seem harsh and perhaps a few harsh words that may burn your ears- but bare with me ok? My counselor is on vacation and the only other place for therapy is "here"...So.. Here goes. It is no secret that I think men are dogs. This is of course comes with repeated let downs. I have acknowledged that I have a problem, and I have been seeking therapy about it, as well as listening to all of your comments, and advice. Yep! I listen and I do take your advice- or if anything seriously think about what you all say and apply as necessary. So- within the last few years I have been engaging in deep thoughts and conversations as to how I got to this place in my heart, as well as what all transpired to put me here. And let me just say- I plan on writing a book and it will sell, and you all will come and visit me on some swank island where each person will have their own room and butler. Lurve me people. I don't forget my friends! So- lately, I have been catering to me. Actually this past months I have been in that mode. Taking care of me in every aspect- learning about me, or as sweet Seraphine says- Finding my way. Last night, I got dressed up- and I mean I was hot..Not slutty hot, but Hot as in tempting. I went to the Salsa outlet, ordered a coke, grabbed a seat and watched the "So you Think you can Dance" people on the floor make complete asses out of themselves.. (That is for another post mind you) Anyways, as I am sitting there laughing my butt off this handsome guy walks up to me and starts talking...making small talk... and yeah- if a guy is cute I have no problem saying it. He was very handsome...German- toned..He said he played Rugby for years and now does boxing as a hobby. Lives here in Atlanta, yada yada. He then asks- "May I buy you a drink?" I told him sure and that I was drinking coke. First of all- it seemed like a big shock because he kept asking if I was sure... Ummmm yeah I am sure...So he goes to get the coke. comes back and sits down and "brushes" against my back with his hand and says- "Your skin is so soft--like a babies.." ok....So I just kinda laugh. He then asks if I want to hear a joke. I agree..He then goes into this lame joke about a rabbit lost in the woods who makes a deal for directions with a fox. The fox basically tells the rabbit you can have directions if you have sex with me. This happens a few times and the rabbit gets upset...This guy then leans into me and says "Do you want to know how the rabbit gets out? You know what you need to do. Now- I "really" have been taking into consideration everyones input about how perhaps mean I am to men, so I politely looked at him and told him..."This rabbit was not lost and if I were, I have a cell phone." He then said it was time to go- and he left....... What really set me off was the fact that a really cool song came on later and I wanted to dance. So- I took a chance, and went up to this guy that was dancing by himself and I asked if he would like to dance with me....... This fucker, rubs his hands together, leans towards me and says: "WHY?"..........People........I had a few choices that I needed to make in a second of how to respond to this....So- I didn't say anything. I just walked out of the bar. I got to my truck and cried. I cried because I was so emotional- all of the feelings that I have been working on and through, tons of forgiveness and so much more, and in that moment, it all resurfaced. The validation of myself as a woman, the anger of men in general, the rage of wanting to just go back in there and bitch slap him for not only giving me a bitch answer, but for having power over me in a way- to use for his own validation of self worth for whatever reasons, or purpose. I got home last night and pondered that......... How is it that people, have just come to a point of such cruelty to others that it feels so good to them that they continue doing it? I thought about all of the ways that I could have just sunk to his level and made him my breakfast-lunch and dinner in one seating. And then I thought about it this morning and the question that came to my mind was: "Was it a test of my growth, and if so did I pass?" Sure, it may be easy to say "OH Callie, it's ok- no worries..." but it does matter...It matters to me because I don't want to be alone for the rest of my life. I don't want to be a bitter person against another gender forever. My heart, my being as a person is not condtioned for that kind of life. to anyone for that matter....So- again- I sit here this afternoon sippin on a Wendys Frosty and I am heavily in thought...Thought as in to get dressed tonight- go back out into the world and say "hey I am still here" or to just ponder ways of living life without someone to share it..... Monday, July 14, 2008 "Here Kitty Kitty Kitty"OK...this is some nice tid bit info for you. Check it. 1. Went Salsa Dancing on Thursday night. And yes. I actually danced with someone. And yep, he was reallllll cute- but too young for me. He is 27. So dancing is all that took place. I got home at 2am- had to be at work by 8.....*sighs* such is life. 2. I went to a Caribbean Party on Saturday. While sitting at the bar, a guy decided to engage me in conversation..and then the statement" I am actually between jobs. I just served time for embezzelment and I am looking for something." Ummm Waitor! Check Please!! 3. I dyed and cut my hair. It is sassy sexy "Red". I text Hope my good bud- and asked her- "should I dye the vajayjay?" Her response: "Draperies must match with the carpeting." 4. I am gonna go ahead and do it! Friday..I am getting pierced. Thursday, July 10, 2008 I am doing this post on the down low. But I just HAD to tell you all what I did last ! No- it wasnt with a man. silly. I was invited a few weeks ago- courteousy of my job to attend The Closer premiere party. Ok. so the invite read more like this:Come and Join us for The Closer Premiere Party free horsedouvers, chocolate buffet, mini massages, cash bar Meet- Gina Ravera! RSVP by this date. I debated...really I did.. I am getting tired of doing things by myself and would rathered played racquetball- but my son, and my mom and Hope were like- Go! It would be fun. So I RSVP for 2 people, couldn't get anyone that wanted to go-or couldn't go...So I went alone...Got lost looking for the Hotel for the event- "Gracias Yahoo Maps" you suck major assage. Anyways- I got there and verified who I was by droppin my business card, ended up being escorted to the 27th floor of this hotel with a handful of other people- verfied again who I was by presenting another business card, was given an arm band and was escorted into this room- overlooking Atlanta and drenched by food and music. I at first was sitting at a table- the big round ones by myself for a while, and then a few ladies asked if they could sit with me, and before I knew it we were chatting it up- networking, handing business cards to each other. I dined on Chicken Somosas, with chutney sauce my favorite, some kind of char grilled steak on a stick (I kept eating those and finally the hostess just kept stopping by with a plate asking if I wanted more) I had a slice of bruchetta and cheese and then....I overloaded on chocolate...I ate- chocolate covered fruit, chocolate something petite fours, chocolate espresso cake- let's just say- my ass was puckered within an hour, and today I am playing 2 hours of ball....... The hostess of the event then introduced the lovely Gina, who spoke for a moment and welcomed us, we watched the Premiere and mingled. I got an autograph and she is simply stunning and sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo personable and sweet. As I am writing to you, she was that way with all of us. She took time and spoke one on one- she answered questions, posed for photos with people. She is simply wonderful. After that I finally decided I needed to go because I wasn't feeling well... On the way out they gave us goodie bags! I got free Movie tickets for a new Movie Theatre that serves "food" and has a bar, I got a cool The Closer T-shirt, free tickets to a Concert by some woman for late July, a free appetizer coupon for some swank eatery- and it was "fun"...The ladies I switched business cards with emailed me this morning to tell me how much they had meeting me, and invited me to check out their business niche and attend some events they put together...I had a blast......So thanks to ya'll that talked me into going. While fixing a plate of chocolate fruit, there was a lady standing by me. I kept kinda staring because I had seen her but just couldnt place her. Finally I said: "Please forgive me for staring, but I recognize you from somewhere and cannot place it." Before she could even say who she was I blurted. "Oh Snaps! Your Jovita Moore of the News!" She is very gorgeous also! Nice too. Thursday, July 03, 2008 Yo!1. I have been playing the shit out of racquetball people. Lurve it! it is the only sport that I can play and actually enjoy it. So much so I play every night for at least an hour and a half. Only issue, I wore out one of my balls *hehehehe* and used a brand new one last night. Because the air conditioner is broken in the racquetcourt area, I had the door open, my ball flew into the outside swimming pool in the middle-floating like a turd- and "no one" in that pool would give me my ball back. So- pissed as I could be I threatened to call immigration on those that acted like they didnt understand what I was saying, went back to play again with a brand new ball- and figured I would go back to the pool and fish for it after my workout- How bout my ball was gone! asswipes! I am waiting to see someone playing with it when I get home. My blue balls cost to much to be throwing to some dog, or having some toddler drool on it. PS. I bought a tshirt that says: "I only play with Blue Balls" hehehehe. 2. the movie WANTED rawks sox people! thats just my opinion yo 3. I bought a little black dress to wear to a girlie event next Wendesday! My boobs look great in it! 4. Everybody is coming out with the powder add on's to put in their water. You know? Like Crystal light. I bought a South Beach one. Some Pineapple thingy. Not only is it ghetto kool aid style, but it gives you gas. I thought it was powdered juice. Well, it is a Milk,Soy based product that tastes like a juice- but also is loaded with Fiber. Enough to where you might need to wear a Depends if you drink enough in a day and sneeze. thar she blows! 5. My mom thinks I am gay. 6. I'm not though 7.
