Friday, January 30, 2009 And that is where it is left. My days are at most good, however Tuesday was not a good day. I broke down and told the landlord what all was going on and he sounded sad. So- needless to say I broke down after hanging up with him and blew snot bubbles out of mah nose for at least a good 20 minutes. I just cannot understand and still am amazed at the circumstances from time to time. And yet I keep in mind I am not the one and only person going through this. so- I need to just keep my faith and keep movin.My son has decided or shall I say is going through a phase of total lost his mind. perhaps it is me who engraved in his heart to maintain a sense of humor through the good and bad. Example- He ripped the tags off of his pillowcase and became nervous wondering when the FBI was going to break down our door. He went to Burger King and asked for a Double Whopper with Cheese minus the Double. (and the funny part was that the counter person tried to make it and was asking how.) He went to McDonalds and asked for a Whopper with Onion Rings. He told me he could no longer take baths because he had to rinse off with his own butt crack water. yeah- this is what is going on in our hood, it's how we roll. His afro is now really big. I try and coax him into me cutting it, but he starts to get defensive. He said it's a part of him being different and he didn't care if people laughed at him, but that he liked it and that's what mattered. In addition to this conversation he then indulges that he secretly tore up my mothers pac man game. He stated that he played it so much and beat the levels that it now starts to skip. yeah- can't wait for that phone call. I have lost a few more pounds. And how would I know that without being on a scale you ask- My pants sag in the front and poofs out which makes me look like I have a penis and balls. HOLLA. I have still been seeing Mr. Man who is very sweet. I enjoy his company a lot. And I am thinkin he is perhaps wondering about who the hell he is trying to hook up. We shall see. Maybe this year I will have a Valentine! if not no worries. I got yall. We can send cards to each other yo! (Even if I did have a Valentine- I would still send you one) And DAZD I am still waiting on your addy to send you a card dang it. And Blither, Bettina, you owe me new addys since your move. Saturday, January 24, 2009 I decided to do something totally different a few days ago and I had to blog about this mission. I went to the ever so famous Craigs List and decided to put out an Ad in the Personals Section. yeah- duh. Before I did this I glanced at others just to see what it was about. I glanced in the Women for Women, Women for Men, Men for Men, Men for Women, ya know- the whole gamut and may I say- I was slightly disgusted, a little scared and perhaps a little intrigued at a few Ads. Upon submitting my Ad- which I stress I had sweaty palms at doing, because well for those of you that have been a part of the realm these past years you know my luck with dating and how I kinda despise it because sometimes, I ran into a few whackos including jabba the hut look a likes, and well, cheez and crackerz I just want someone normal for a change.Anyways- I did my Ad and received I kid you not- 95 responses! Ok....I lied...It was more like 7 with 1 potential. And the one that got my attention is someone I can roll with. According to his heartfelt response, my stomach is in knots. We exchanged numbers, but I want him to call me so i am doing my best to not dial him first. I am tired of always being "the one." And then- there were the dreaded weirdos that wanted to know off the bat weird things. Like- "do I pee with a slow stream or fast stream." Can I just say ew? and then there were the ones that were "Yo! whaddup! Check it- I got alllllll muh teef and can say fo werds- Mutha Fucka yous a fyne bitch yo! Send me yo number yo! I'll calllllll ya...." And with that, I just want to delete my Ad and say- flug it. I am done. I will just invest in energizer batteries and eat by own damn self from now on. Friday, January 23, 2009 Hey all, just wanted to take a moment to say things are "hopeful" since the job incident. I was if anything to say the least upset and going through some things you know. But after the first day I seemed to get better with it and had already started planning. Therefore check out my latest thoughts on what I could do.1. Mail order bride. Dude- in some countries I can get 2 goats and a chicken. BUT because i am callie, and worth alot more, perhaps someone will throw in a cow and some pigs along with the goats and chickens and whaddya know? Millionaire dowry in effect. 2. Truck Drivin Momma- I can learn to drive those big azz trucks and learn to sidewipe a few vehicles while i am at it. That would be kool. So be on the lookout for me to honk my tweeter at you on the highway sometime. 3. Army- I did go and talk to the recruiter on yesterday. It was a good conversation but he kept repeating something that kinda got me wonderin... he kept saying- "You are scaring me. Your so quiet and reserved." and with that- I felt it an opportune time to perhaps lighten his fear and I asked him- "I am not trying to be crass- but do I have to take all of my piercings out for basic?" with that he kinda stuttered in speech and whatever he was writing, and glanced at me. "How many do you have?" "I mean, you don't look like a pin cushion." "I mean, how long have they been in?" "I mean, yes....for the time being..." "By the way, where are they located?" "Your a hell raiser aren't you?" yep..I can see me now...... Private Benjamin...... 4. Waffle House Diva- no seriously, I can learn to swing a spatula and yell "Give me a slab of cow burn it and paint it yellow and graze the field pronto!" In lamens terms- Cheeseburger well done all the way. Life is grand. 5. Hooters Girl- I can be the first curvy Hooters girl. And get this- My hooters won't need a push up bra because I have enough to fill Dolly Partons depending on the time of the month, AND I dont have to wear those pantyhose because I already come complete with a tan. HOLLA! 6. A cafe Barista- errrr at Dunkin Doughnuts- Lurve it. 7. A bartender- I can see me doing that. Coyote Ugly here I come! 8. A Maid- a sexy one- cleaning stuff...only without the high heels because 3 hours in it I am pissed. Just give me my Keds. 9. A Phone Actress- yeah...errr lemme think on that for a year or two. 10. The Dancing Chik Fil A cow by the side of the road. I can do that. Maybe even break it down with a little Moonwalk, the robot. If anything no one will know it's me AND I would get free waffle fries and lemonade. Classic! Yo! I am still here. Still me.....still callie.... Wednesday, January 14, 2009 Ha! DAZD you kill me. hehehehI am online for at least 3 hours a day throwing out my resume'. I am on the phone at least an hour making calls and follow up and just basically looking for contacts. I am in the tub crying my ass off for a good 45 minutes wondering how military green would look good on my skin cuz I am five seconds from contacting this ARMY Recruiter for the reserves. Yeah- in other words I am still around yo. But heeeeyyyy...Can you imagine the blog fodder comin outta my ass from Basic training?! HOOORAHHHH! PS. Diva still has not sent me shit with regards to my trip to the NO- New Orleans for ya'll not in the know.
